There are 41 en suite rooms and suites at the Royal Oak Hotel, including a romantic four poster bedroom. Overall some of the room interiors are in need of updating and the corridors could do with a little refurbishment in places. Nevertheless everything is clean and comfortable with a quaint charm thanks to old photographs of the local area, feature pieces of antique or reproduction furniture, and the country bed and breakfast style décor. Each bedroom has Sky television, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms in the Coach House annexe are especially quiet.
