From the South (M1)
Follow the M1 until you reach the A1 interchange. Continue on the A1 North until you reach Junction 45, and then turn onto the A64, heading towards York. Take the A1036 and follow the signs to York City Centre. You will pass York Racecourse on your right hand side. Keep going, and follow the signs for York Railway Station. The Royal York Hotel can be found in the heart of York City Centre, adjacent to the mainline railway station. |
