Situated next to the railway station at Oakham, this Victorian grain store has been the home of Davis’s Brewing Company. Guided tours of the brewery are available, and there are beer festivals during the summer months; naturally the bar (The Brewery Tap) is a real ale haven, and also offers a good selection of bar meals and snacks.

The Old Plough has for a long time been one of Rutland’s most popular pubs. It dates from the late 18th Century, and is full of period charm and character, albeit with a tastefully modernised interior.
