The Shakespeare Hotel, Stratford-uopn-Avon is a dramatic venue which can add a unique sense of occasion to any conference. The hotel itself is a Tudor building so true to its origins that it holds the rare distinction of a Grade 1 listing for architectural and historical interest. And yet this atmospheric setting has been so beautifully appointed with modern conference facilities that it makes many custom-built venues seem outdated.

Here is a dramatic venue which can add a unique sense of occasion to any conference. The Shakespeare Hotel is a Tudor building so true to its origins that it holds the rare distinction of a Grade 1 listing for architectural and historical interest. And yet this atmospheric setting has been so beautifully appointed with modern conference facilities that it makes many custom-built venues seem outdated.

The six conference rooms and ballroom are panelled in Oak and in the rooms the panelling skilfully conceals 21st century communication equipment

Each of our 74 rooms is unique, named after a character from a Shakespeare play. For a touch of luxury, choose one of our three four poster bedrooms, a suite or one of eight mini-suites. Each room has satellite TV and CD players.

The compact luxury of the hotel is relaxed yet stimulating to create the perfect atmosphere for a successful conference. It also lends itself to the entertainment of important guests or the hosting of an incentive event. For incentive groups we can arrange Golf; Hot Air Ballooning or Motor Racing Schools and a variety of other activities.

We can also arrange special entry to the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre performances with Back Stage visits arranged for incentive groups

Set on the bank of the River Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace is a town with enough history to keep you occupied for days. As well as Anne Hathaway's cottage, crammed full of original 16th century furniture there's Holy Trinity Church, a fine Gothic structure which houses Shakespeare's tomb. Theatre lovers will want to visit The Royal Shakespeare Theatre or The Swan.
