Sir Christopher Wrens House Nestled between the banks of the Thames and Windsor Castle is the beautiful 17th Century town house of the Sir Christopher Wren House Hotel and Spa. The Grade II listed building was designed and built by Sir Wren himself, and is now managed by the Wren’s Hotel Group. The hotel incorporates bedrooms, suites, serviced apartments, meeting and function facilities, the Wren’s Club Spa and an AA rosette-awarded restaurant across several buildings connected by a central courtyard. At the time of writing, there is an ongoing sympathetic renovation being carried out across all areas, and the spa and several rooms already show the benefits of this refurbishment.

There is a range of en suite accommodation choices at the Sir Christopher Wren, including Standard rooms, Executive doubles, Junior Suites, including Sir Wren’s former bedroom, and Suites. All rooms are elegantly individually decorated to a high standard. In addition, longer-staying guests may occupy the “Windsor Apartments”, serviced residences with kitchens and lounge/study areas.

Windsor has many respectable bars and restaurants, but for high-quality dining guests need look no further than the award-winning Strok’s Restaurant. The hotel restaurant has appealing views over Eton Bridge and the Thames, and serves mouth-watering contemporary continental cuisine. For lighter snacks or a pre-dinner drink, enjoy the Martini Bar and Champagne Terrace.

Sir Christopher Wren’s House Hotel also offers theatre and spa breaks: The Wren’s Club Spa includes a wide choice of lavish treatments and the opportunity to relax in the peaceful surroundings or work out in the up-to-date gym. Finally, it can also provide corporate and leisure functions. There are six function rooms available, each with its own unique highlights. Between 6 and 90 delegates can be accommodated, and a selection of delegate packages are offered by the hotel.
