Snowdonia with its rugged, sweeping scenery and tranquil seclusion is the perfect place to get away from the stresses of daily life, and as such is as far removed from the bustling High Street as possible. The region is peppered with all manner of specialist shops and outlets however, with traditional Welsh woollens and fresh produce featuring heavily. There is also an array of souvenir shops and, given the mountainous nature of Snowdonia, plenty of outdoor activities shops. In terms of familiar High Street brands, Bangor and Llandudno are reasonably well equipped, but shoppers may need to look further afield for the big names.
