The Holly Bush Inn is a wonderfully atmospheric thatched inn in Salt, a small village not far from Stafford. It is believed to have the second oldest licence in England, having served beer since the late 17th Century; the pub itself however is much older, and many of its original features remain intact. The pub contains an astonishing collection of somewhat bizarre paraphernalia and bric-a-brac, and is a rather pleasant place in which to sit and enjoy a pint of well-kept cask ale and peruse the menu of hearty pub food.
