As the county town of Warwickshire and as one of the UK’s favourite tourist destinations, Warwick provides a good range of shopping facilities. Although not endowed with some of the bigger High Street names – the nearby cities of Coventry and Birmingham and the adjacent town of Royal Leamington Spa are much better in this respect – Warwick still has plenty to offer. Although there are plenty of familiar shops in Warwick’s town centre, there is also an impressive array of smaller, independent outlets and gift shops; most of these are distributed around the pleasant Swan Street, Market Place and Smith Street areas. Warwick is also particularly well served with booksellers and antiques shops, both in the town centre and at the Hatton Country World site a few miles out of town.

Hatton Country World is just a few miles outside Warwick town centre, and makes a great family day out. There are 25 arts and crafts and gift shops, 20 antiques dealers, a farm shop and retail outlet at the Hatton Shopping Village, while Hatton Farm Village, on the same site, allows children to come face to face with friendly farm animals.
