Coughton Court has been the home of the Throckmorton family since the 15th century, and is one of the UK’s finest stately homes. It has beautiful grounds and gardens and is set in the Warwickshire countryside just 20 minutes’ drive from the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. Baddesley Clinton is a superbly preserved medieval moated manor house in North Warwickshire. It dates from the 15th Century, and retains many of its original features and much of its period charm. The house is surrounded by enchanting gardens, and there is also a secluded 19th Century chapel.

Stoneleigh Abbey was founded in 1154 by Cistercian monks, and is remarkably well preserved today. There have been some famous visitors to the abbey over the centuries, including King Charles I, Jane Austen and Queen Victoria. The abbey makes an interesting day out, and guided tours are available.
