The White Swan Hotel is a quintessential English Inn, and can be found at the very heart of historic Stratford-upon-Avon. The White Swan is something of a landmark in Stratford and its beautiful timbered architecture is typical of many buildings of the era; The White Swan has offered good ale and warm hospitality since the 15th century (more than a century before William Shakespeare first put ink to paper), making it almost undoubtedly the oldest surviving building used as a hostelry in the town.
