Worcestershire has a good selection of shops to suit all tastes. Being near to Birmingham and Coventry - two cities with very good shopping facilities - some may overlook Worcestershire’s slightly more modest offerings, but there is still plenty to interest even the most ardent shopper. The cathedral city of Worcester has a good array of shops lining its historic streets, including the Crowngate and Cathedral Plaza Shopping Centres and a fine selection of specialist shops. The county’s other large towns such as Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Kidderminster also offer their fair share of shops and retail outlets, and there are a number of small market towns and villages where regular outdoor markets are still held.
